ABOUT ABBY

Abby Dixon founded The Whole Marketer in 2020, aligning her ‘why’ – to help marketers grow – to her passion for the marketing profession and marketers within it to have successful and fulfilling careers.
And when she’s not writing books or her column for Marketing Week, coaching/mentoring for The Marketing Academy, speaking at events, recording podcast, hosting panels, judging industry awards and spearheading topics effecting our industry, like burnout – you can find her in her happy place of Cornwall, soul charging on her favourite beach, Porth.

It was early 2020 when Abby had her Jerry Maguire ‘Aha’ moment.
As an experienced, award-winning marketing practitioner, consultant, accredited trainer and coach, Abby was reflecting on her recent work. She found that many marketers, regardless of industry or sector, were feeling overwhelmed and lacking fulfilment.

Here’s why

Abby recognised that to thrive in our challenging yet rewarding profession, the marketers behind the brand or business require a holistic set of skills, behaviours and mindset.

Not only technical, soft and leadership skills to grow the brands and businesses of tomorrow. But, as importantly, Abby also wanted to build individuals’ personal understanding so they can gain fulfilment by taking the reins of their career and life as whole.

And so The Whole Marketer was born

From a podcast (150+ episodes)… to a book… keynotes and talks… and now a marketing transformation and capability consultancy, where we work in partnership with our clients to build successful and fulfilled marketing teams.

Our team of consultants and coaches bring together their knowledge, experience, insight and skills from across a range of brands, categories and sectors, to provide marketing leaders and their teams with the clarity, support, inspiration and empowerment required to deliver sustainable change.
